PM Modi hits out at Pakistan after attack in Kashmir
Modi said, there were 17 attempts by fidayen attackers sent by the neighbouring country, which have been defeated by fearless Indian soldiers who have neutralised over 110 terrorists, which is the highest in recent years.

He said that terrorism is affecting India’s neighbours, including Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
He indicated that India’s efforts would be directed at isolating Pakistan diplomatically, saying it has already succeeded in this regard and would speed up related measures. “There is no justification for atrocities on unarmed Kashmiris in (India)-held Kashmir and the Kashmir dispute should be solved in accordance with aspirations of the Kashmiris”, the report quoted Yu as saying.
Recalling last week’s Uri attack that left 18 soldiers dead, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said he is proud of the Army which does not speak but act.
It also accused India of continuing to sponsor terrorism in Pakistan through state apparatus. “I will work for that”.
Addressing a public meeting as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national council meeting, Modi said there was a sense of anger among the people of India over the September 18 Uri terror attack and the deaths of soldiers.
Pakistan has denied the allegations. I want to tell you that India wants to fight with Pakistan.
“All of Asia is looking to the 21st century with hope, except one country, which is busy exporting terrorism, blood and mayhem in the region and beyond”.
He said it is the desire of all parents that schools and colleges in Kashmir started working properly and farmers there want that their produce should reach the markets of the country. “Only one country in Asia is a safe haven for terrorists”.
“Instead of framing any long term policy to counter such attacks, Modi government is misleading the people and trying to divert attention by advising Pakistan to fight unemployment, poverty, illiteracy”, she told reporters.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech lashing out against Pakistan, was closely monitored by the Pakistani media, and within an hour of its delivery on Saturday evening, excerpts were on websites of major dailies, with most describing it as spewing venom against Pakistan. The Prime Minister said, Pakistan’s leadership cannot take care of PoK, Balochistan, Gilgit and Pakhtunistan and could not retain East Pakistan, which is Bangaldesh now.
Modi said Pakistan – which is widely seen as being the source of the deadly attack – “wanted bloodshed, killing of people and terror”.
“To express solidarity with Kashmiris the Pakistani government should be ordered to put immediate ban on exhibition of Indian movies across the country”, it pleaded. “And a day will come when people of Pakistan will go against their own government to fight terrorism”, he added.
Kashmir has been divided between India and Pakistan since the two gained independence from British rule in 1947.

India regularly accuses its arch-rival Pakistan of arming and sending rebels across the heavily militarised border that divides Kashmir between the two countries, to launch attacks on its forces. NIA officials also said that recovery of objects like medicines, packets of food, etc., bore markings of Pakistani manufacturers, thus linking the perpetrators to the neighbouring country.
