Dragic says he was ‘disappointed, sad’ to hear Bosh news
Saying “little setbacks happen”, Chris Bosh vowed on Friday night to continue his comeback to the National Basketball Association without specifically addressing what had caused him to fail a preseason physical with the Miami Heat. “The Miami Heat regrets that it remains unable to clear Chris to return to basketball activities, and there is no timetable for his return”.

“Little setbacks happen, but that doesn’t change my intentions and what I want accomplish, ” Bosh said on video. But I’m hoping for it to be that. “So it’s a down moment right now, but everything’s going to be all right”. And with the team set to fly to the Bahamas on Monday for a training camp without not only Bosh but Dwyane Wade as well, Dragic knows his role with the Heat is about to expand in ways he likely could not have imagined. “I was really happy to hear him sign with the Heat and that I can play with him”. But there are mechanisms in the NBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement that would allow Miami to get Bosh’s salary off its cap number sometime next year if he can not continue to play.
But Fleischmann failed his physical with the Minnesota Wild this weekend, though the team did not say if the reason was related to clotting problems.
Considering the amount of questions over the Heat’s roster before the recent development on Bosh, his latest setback further cements the many stumbling blocks that are in store for the Heat this season. Since Bosh is signed for three more years and $76 million, the Heat remain on the hook for his entire contract, and would be unable to waive him until February 9 in order for his contract not to count against the salary cap. “We began to do our own research”. “We began to find articles”.
Westbrook said he plans to use his platform to help find solutions. We began to find other doctors, who not only forward thinking but were specialists who could help, who have dealt with athletes before, so we chose to get smarter and just really hit the ground and just dig out as many clues as possible and we were able to find a few gems.
“I need to take care of a couple things – try to be more aggressive, try to score and try to get everybody else involved”.
“I wished him luck and told him not to go off against us”, Dragic said with a smile.
Dragic averaged 12.2 points on 46.9 percent shooting to go with 3.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 44 games before the All-Star break last season. We have the formula. They take the blood, they study it – on blood thinners, off blood thinners. “And they get all the data possible to put their formula into it and customize it for me”.

After four years in Atlanta then five in New Orleans, he landed in Salt Lake City but was waived by the Utah Jazz due to then coach Tom Nissalke’s strict rules on players being unable to train – Pistol Pete’s injuries had become so bad he never hit the practice court. So, it’s not a matter of if I’m going to play again – it’s when.
