Jamie Metzl said, “What NK is doing with these constant tests, both nuclear tests and missile tests, is actually trying to develop a workable, deliverable nuclear deterrent”.
South Korea’s Defense Ministry said Monday that South Korean and USA intelligence authorities believe North Korea has the ability to detonate another atomic device at any time at one of its tunnels at its main Punggye-ri nuclear test site, where the five previous atomic explosions took place.
North Korea has an abundance of uranium reserves and has been working covertly for well over a decade on a project to enrich the material to weapons-grade level, the experts say.
As with most passports around the world, there are several versions of a North Korean passport; an ” ordinary” passport is “temporary” and must be promptly returned, and there are also diplomatic passports and official ones for high-ranking politicians, which must also be returned after travel and are only valid for five years.
