Duterte campaigned on promises of eradicating the country’s drug problem by any means possible – including a vow to kill 100,000 criminals in his first six months in office.

The brash president’s controversial drug enforcement initiative has led to more than 3,000 executions since his inauguration on June 30.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, in response to the European Union (EU) denouncing his administration’s extrajudicial killings of drug suspects, reportedly said “fuck you”.

“And then the European Union has the gall to condemn me”, Duterte added.

“There will be another explosion, believe me”, the President said during a meeting with survivors and families of the victims in the night market bombing here early this month.

Under his watch, at least 16,000 people have been arrested and more than 700,000 have surrendered to authorities, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

“The problem is… I can’t kill them all”, he reportedly said.

He was taking to during a visit to a military camp to solders, no matters how many you killed and not to pardon as you have full political and civil rights.

“I just threaten criminals, while you threaten countries of this world, the pitiful Arabs, the Muslims”.

THE EUROPEAN Delegation to the Philippines was mum on Wednesday following another expletive-laden rant by President Rodrigo Duterte, who railed on Tuesday against Brussels for condemning his deadly crackdown on drugs.

After lambasting the United Nations, the United States and its president and Nobel laureate, Barack Obama, the European Union is the latest high-profile recipient of a Duterte dressing-down that has become part of his appeal to millions of Filipinos.

At the inauguration of the Filinvest Development Corporation Misamis Powerplant in Misamis Oriental, Duterte said he would send an invitation to United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki Moon and the European lawmakers to investigate the alleged summary executions of suspected drug lords in the country.

Duterte has accused de Lima of involvement in illegal drugs, alleging that she used to have a driver who took money from detained drug lords – she has denied the allegations.
