Lenovo A2010: Affordable 4G Enabled Smartphone at Rs 4990

Both Xiaomi Mi4i and Asus Zenfone 2 are priced at Rs 12,999, while the Honor 4X and Lenovo A7000 will be selling at Rs 10,499 and Rs 8,999 respectively. Meanwhile the registration window for the first flash has already started from today.

In terms of specifications, the A2010 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a 854 x 480 pixels resolution.

The handset will be launched on September 3 in India as the country’s cheapest LTE smartphone to date: it will cost just 4,990 INR (about $76). It is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad-core 64-bit processor with Mali T720 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be extended up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The Lenovo A2010 with Onyx Black and Pearl White color options will go on sale exclusively through Flipkart.

The Lenovo A2010 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The A2010 budget smartphone has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash on the back and a 2MP camera in front. The phone proudly boasts the title of “cheapest 4G LTE” smartphone and has some above average specs for the price it is offered at.

The smartphone supports dual-SIM functionality.

On connectivity front, Lenovo A2010 has 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and FM radio. It uses a 2,000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 8.5 hours of talk time.
