When we were just getting started it made sense to name our company Snapchat Inc., because Snapchat was our only product! The videos shot by Spectacles sync wirelessly to smartphones for sharing.

Following the footsteps of search engine giant Google, the Social media app, Snapchat, now known as Snap Inc, has released its own video-recording glasses called “Spectacles”.

Snapchat gained its popularity for its messaging app and fun filters that many users have embraced. The wearable tech will “connect directly to Snapchat via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and transfer your Memories directly into the app”. This means that the videos are round, though when viewed on your phone they’ll be cropped into landscape or portrait format. The formats video plays full screen on any devices with a 115 degree field of view that some reviewers have compared to video from a GoPro camera. The specs will feature an integrated video camera with a 115-degree lens created to match human visual perspective.

“We chose to drop the “chat” and go with Snap Inc!” he said.

He said: “It was our first vacation and we were walking through the woods”. What if you could go back and see that memory the way you experienced it? “It was the closest I’d ever come to feeling like I was there again”. “It’s one thing to see images of an experience you had, but it’s another thing to have an experience of the experience”.
