Quarterback Tony Romo, running back Darius Jackson, safety Kavon Frazier, linebacker Mark Nzeocha and defensive end Charles Tapper round out the inactive Cowboys.

SNF. Game 3 for Dak Prescott. Last year Hoyer started 11 games for the Texans, throwing for 2,606 yards and 19 touchdowns compared to seven interceptions as the Texans won the AFC South.

Through two weeks, Dez Bryant has been mortal, Jason Witten has been old and Cole Beasley is Prescott’s favorite target. In three career games against the Cowboys he’s caught 14 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns.

The Packers (2-1) needed every bit of an early fourth-touchdown lead because Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford lit up a depleted defense. Miller finished with 76 yards on eight receptions.

But the joke Sunday night was another primetime showing for a pitiful Bears team.

Chicago is playing in its second-straight primetime matchup, having already been carved up by the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Hoyer also lost a fumble. The rookie running back had more holes to run through, despite the offensive line missing their best player, Tyron Smith, and La’el Collins who left the game late in the second quarter with an injury.

“However, Terrance Williams fumbled after a 50-yard catch and Adrian Amos scooped up the ball and returned it 21 yards to the Bears”™ 31. Will Chicago be able to overcome their struggles so far this season, or will they continue to plummet and fall to the Cowboys? Prescott got into the end zone himself with a 1-yard keeper to cap Dallas’ first possession.

Dallas had 274 yards by the break to Chicago’s 114 yards. Rushing touchdowns from Dak Prescott, Lance Dunbar and Alfred Morris have the Cowboys up 24-3 at the half. The Eagles looked terrific Monday night with rookie quarterback Carson Wentz making his second National Football League start.

Hoyer injected some life into the offense, which picked up from a halftime deficit of 24-3 to threaten the Cowboys at least a little in the fourth quarter. Other inactives: CB Bryce Callahan, RB Ka’Deem Carey, CB Kyle Fuller, NT Eddie Goldman, C Eric Kush and LB Danny Trevathan.

Dallas, though, was actually in quite a few games without Romo a season ago, but simply couldn’t finish. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBC.
