SW Fla. sounds off before Trump, Clinton debate
Former President George H.W. Bush reportedly plans to vote for Clinton in the November 8 election, former Trump rival Jeb Bush has said he will not vote for Clinton or Trump, and George W. Bush has avoided the presidential race while helping raise money for Republican congressional candidates.

And that’s exactly why Trump invited Flowers to embarrass Hillary and prove to voters what a corrupt, flawed and self-serving candidate she is.
But in a year when outsiders like Mr Trump and Mr Sanders have made a mark, Mr Trump’s best argument could be that he is a better agent of change than the former secretary of state and U.S. senator from NY, said Scott Reed, a veteran Republican operative who is now chief strategist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Trump will likely need to prove to voters that he has the policy depth and gravitas to serve as commander in chief.
Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook said on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday that Holt should point out when Trump clearly lies, calling Trump a special case because he has lied so often.
“But the fact is that he has every right to defend himself”. But then, like Jackson praising a referee before leaning on him, he added, “But a lot of people are going to be watching to see if that’s true”. “But he will answer the questions”.
The commission “asks independent, smart journalists to be the moderators and we let them decide how they’re going to do this”, Brown said.
But he also suggested that Monday night could change all that.
100 million Americans and countless others around the world are expected to tune into tonight’s debate as the pair match up on stage for the first time.
Two national opinion polls released over the weekend show Mr Trump, the Republican candidate, and his Democratic rival locked in a dead heat.
Another 5% said they support Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson, while 1% say they support Green Party nominee Jill Stein.
Around 39 percent of registered voters see Clinton favorably, compared to 57 percent who have an unfavorable impression.
“There’s still a large number of people who could sway this election”, said G. Terry Madonna, a political scientist who oversees polling at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.

But Mike Pence, Trump’s running mate, told “Fox News Sunday” that Flowers would not attend the debate.
“We need to hear from these two candidates, and I hope and trust the moderators will just facilitate that”, Pence said on CBS’ Face the Nation.
To prepare for the debate, Clinton has been holding mock debate sessions where longtime aide Philippe Reines plays the role of Trump. She took several days off the campaign trail in the last week to prepare.
Outspoken Trump critic and owners of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, Mark Cuban, tweeted on Thursday: “Just got a front row seat to watch @HillaryClinton overwhelm @realDonaldTrump”.
Trump and Cuban have been sparring for years.
When Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders criticized her in an MSNBC primary debate, Clinton responded by saying, “Sen”.
Ahead of the debates Clinton has been cloistered with aides and her papers at home in Chappaqua, north of NY, even practicing with relatives playing Trump.
The sarcastic tweet is an example of about the only time Trump has used the word “sorry”, and it doesn’t really count as an apology. “But we have not invited her formally and we don’t expect her to be there as a guest of the Trump campaign”.
