Anwar, referring to the Kashmir conflict, added that he felt Pakistani actors should refuse to work in India.

In a statement, an ITV spokesperson described Anwar’s tweets and comments as “entirely unacceptable”.

The actor was sacked after he made racially offensive comments on Twitter.

His unpublishable tweets included “b*****ds” and “p**s-drinking c**ts”, “F***ing #indians killing our #Kashmir brothers and sisters, beggars #NawazSharif still sucking #modi Lul!”.

Former Coronation Street star, Marc Anwar has posted an apology video on YouTube following his sacking from the British soap.

Last night the actor rushed to delete two of his most offensive tweets, which caused widespread shock.

Anwar was a part of the show since 2014 and played the father of Kal Nazir, a prominent character essayed by Jimi Mistry.
