Sep 26, 2016- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in Canada with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, for a royal tour, five years after they first visited the country as newly-weds.

“I’m really grateful for the chance to bring some light on this place because there’s a lot of love and a lot of hope here”, Wright said.
Britain’s Prince William and his wife Kate arrived in British Columbia on Saturday for an eight-day trip during which they will view spectacular nature sites and meet with refugees and indigenous Americans.
Later William and Kate and chatted with a family who had fled the civil war in Syria, during a visit with Canada’s prime minister and his wife to the Immigrant Services Society of British Columbia (ISS).
As well as English classes, ISS has also supported the family with their settlement assessment programme, which helps them with paperwork and orientation.
The couple learned how the first responders help the people of Vancouver. “I have a whole living room filled with books and magazines about them”, Ward said.
Trudeau was seen lifting his hand, trying to high-five the young prince, who shook his head and did not accept the gesture. William nodded when the prime minister sang the praises of Canadians who volunteer their time at the charity and similar organisations.
30 Sept Victoria, British Columbia: The royal couple will visit the Cridge Centre for the Family, which provides services and support for women who have experienced domestic violence. William asked a refugee from Afghanistan about how the society had helped him, and the refugee replied that it helped him get into a technology course so he could learn new skills.
Yosra told her: “We feel safe here”.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge returned to their base at Government House in Victoria from a day of engagements in Vancouver on Sunday with a pile of presents for their children. “A few of you remember it too well, I think”.
Wolf whistles and cheers rent the air as people thrust forward flowers, children’s books, a teddy bear and, bizarrely, a book on the royal family. On the second day of their trip the British royal couple flew on a float planeto Vancouver, where they were greeted at the waterfront by several hundred fans who gave them a raucous welcome.
They were dressed semi-formally for their visit to Vancouver, with William wearing a blazer, tie and dark trousers. The Duchess wore a red-and-white patterned dress by the late British designer Alexander McQueen.

William and Kate also hosted a reception for young Canadians making important contributions to their communities and were scheduled to visit the Kitsilano Coast Guard Station.
