New York’s pass-catching running back Shane Vereen makes for an interesting sleeper play this week as the Giants’ main back Rashad Jennings will be sporting a cast to protect an injured thumb.

BOSA UPDATE: Chargers rookie defensive end Joey Bosa practiced in pads for the first time this week, but still might not be ready to make his National Football League debut because of a hamstring injury.
Frank Gore rushed for 70 yards in the first half and looked nearly certain to end the Colts’ streak of consecutive games without a 100-yard runner at 52.
Gore had 70 yards on 13 carries at the half. Travis Benjamin led in receiving with 115 yards and two touchdowns in six catches while Tyrell Williams posted 61 yards and a touchdown in three catches. The streak is at 59 consecutive games, including the playoffs. He played in 11 games last season and recorded under 40 tackles (29) for the first time in his career.
Colts: The Colts played most of the game their regular starters on the right side of their offensive line.
Cornerback Patrick Robinson, who missed the Denver game with a concussion, has been ruled out. A week ago, Von Miller blew up the game and the Colts with three sacks while generally wreaking all sorts of havoc.
