Ole Miss OL Sims honored by SEC
He knows from experience it won’t be easy.

“He’s going to continue to rehab really hard”, Smart said.
Evan Engram came out of his cut on a corner route and looked back at Chad Kelly.
Ole Miss (2-2, 1-1 SEC) blew leads of at least 21 points to top five opponents Alabama and Florida State already this month, but there was not a hint they would have a similar collapse.
A big time SEC Showdown takes place today down in “The Grove” as the Georgia Bulldogs take on the Mississippi Rebels. He sustained a season-ending knee injury against Tennessee last season.
Now Smart is ready for round two. “You have to win your one-on-ones”, Kelly said. You’ve got to be able to change it up and you’ve got to throw the slider. We’ll call you when it’s your time to entertain us.
A lot of Kelly’s success against UGA can be attributed to a much-improved effort from his offensive line.
But Saturday’s homecoming game against Memphis (6 p.m.), which defeated Ole Miss, 37-24, a year ago, won’t be an opportunity to let up.
When asked about his play, Kelly said, “I was patient in the pocket”.
But in the first three weeks of the season, Georgia kept it consistent – and not in a good way.
“Right now, we’re not a really good tackling defence”, Smart said. “We have to make those plays on third down and come up big on third down”.
“I immediately get angry with myself”, McKenzie said on what goes through his mind when he drops a pass. Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly decides to throw instead of handing off to Akeem Judd as the Rebels take on the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday at Vaught-Hemmingway stadium. “The tight end, that Engram kid, is a special talent”. Said Kelly: “He’s a heck of an athlete”. And if the Rebels don’t figure out how to fix their problems, any shot at competing for a league title will likely be over before the calendar hits October.
Ole Miss will look to exploit Georgia’s vulnerable defense. It was these waining minutes of the opening half that led to its downfall against Florida State and Alabama.
Georgia (3-1, 1-1 SEC) had overcome double-digit deficits against North Carolina and Missouri this season.
Georgia freshman QB Jacob Eason completed 16 of 36 attempts for 137 yards and one interception in the school’s 45-14 loss to Ole Miss. Both teams are coming into this game with a must-win mentality.
Chubb had 12 carries for 57 yards at the time of the injury.
Following another Bulldog punt, the Rebels marched 84 yards in 10 plays capped by a one-yard TD run by Pennamon that gave Ole Miss a 17-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

“It is going to be another great challenge for us”, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said. Freshman Brian Herrien ended the day as Georgia’s leading rusher with his 78 yards. Anthony Miller led in receiving with 77 yards and a touchdown in three catches while Phil Mayhue had 72 yards and a touchdown in three receptions.
