At First Rally Post Debate, Trump Stays On Anti-Clinton Message

A lack of preparation did him no good at all. Its commentators said she delivered a “commanding performance” while Trump offered too many interruptions.

“Some of it’s said – somebody who’s been very vicious to me, Rosie O’Donnell, I said very tough things to her, and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her”, Trump said. “It’s inappropriate. It’s not nice”.

The debate was framed by the Clinton campaign as a test of temperament and judgment.

He has hinted he is not going to hold back in the future.

For his part, Trump, speaking at a rally in the battleground state of Florida on Tuesday, said of the debate: “On issue after issue, Secretary Clinton defended the awful status quo – while I laid out our plan to bring jobs, security and prosperity back to the American people”. But Clinton, showing her intensive preparations, went after him as hard or harder, including sharp criticism of his business practices and crude comments about women.

And sure enough, Mr. Trump often took the bait, wasting time on details about his company’s history while barely going on offense against the Clinton Foundation. She said he missed key issues that could have swayed on-the-fence voters.

While Mr Trump gripped the lectern – “something to hold on to” – he stared at his opponent with pursed lips and sideways glances. And Hillary went back into the years and. found the girl and talked about her like she was Mother Teresa, and it wasn’t quite that way, but that’s OK.

“First, maybe he’s not as rich as he says he is”.

“[Cuban] made 300 of his employees billionaires overnight”, she said. Both candidates stuck to their usual responses, but Holt pressed Trump, saying there was no rule preventing him from releasing his taxes just because they’re under audit.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump battled to break out of deadlocked polls Tuesday after clashing in their first televised debate, lashing each other with insults on the campaign trail in critical states. “This is just what I perceived, but he seemed to look to where his family were seated”. I could be surprised again. Both showed Clinton as the clear victor.

This morning, #TrumpWon was already trending on Twitter, and it appears those 400-lb hackers Trump sneered at during the debate still took to 4chan and Reddit to game online polls.

Grace Barrios, vice president of outreach for Pilipino American Los Angeles Democrats (PALAD) and a Clinton delegate during the Democratic National Committee, also attended the watch party and agreed that Clinton’s performance underscored her “clear plan” for the presidency, especially in terms of economic growth, education, national security among other issues.

Mrs Clinton claimed Mr Trump had refused to rent apartments to black people in the 1970s, decades before spreading a “racist lie” about Mr Obama.

Whether it’s what they want in a president remains to be seen.

David, a white waiter at a pizza restaurant near the Brooklyn Bridge, said he would vote for Trump because he saw the candidate as “the lesser of two evils”.
