September 24 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Saturday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech on Pakistan as “brave”, saying he had shown “Pakistan a mirror”. 18 fearless soldiers lost their lives in Uri attack.

Mayawati said Modi had failed to gain the trust of the masses with his assurances that Uri-like attacks will not occur again.
“With all this, if Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s chest has puffed up to 56 inches, then its not because of machismo, but due to India’s cowardice in such matters”, the Sena said. In a statement issued here, the spokesman categorically rejected the Indian leadership’s allegations about Pakistan’s involvement in terrorist activities. The angry speech was expected, with many of Mr Modi’s supporters and members of his Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party demanding that India hit back hard after the attack on the army base. “While India has cast aspersions on Pakistan, it continues to sponsor terrorism in Pakistan through its state apparatus”, said a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesman on Twitter. Advising Pakistan was a “political conspiracy” and people of UP and Punjab should be aware of it, she said. He said that India always starts accusing Pakistan immediately after any attack without waiting for investigations.
Singh said Pakistan was sending terrorists to create disorder in the Kashmir Valley but does not understand that terrorism will affect it more.
Underscoring that the biggest enemy of human rights is terrorism, he said the “enemy of development is terrorism and we must end this scourge”.
Asserting that terrorism is the enemy of humanity, Prime Minister Modi called upon the global community to join hands to defeat terrorism.
