He said he has not been cleared to play, and did not address if any new clots have formed in recent months.

Riley went on to say that they will no longer focus on getting Chris Bosh back to play and that this decision is something Bosh should decide himself.

The Sun-Sentinel reports Riley said the Heat are no longer working with Bosh on his return to the league and that his continued medical issues will prohibit him from playing any further.

Earlier on this, Bosh 2014-2015 season “prematurely” end when the first blood clot was detected in his lung after 2015 All-Star Game.

“We are not”, Riley said. “Its pretty definitive with us in our position.”. Bosh has been pushing for a return with media day set for Monday and the start of training camp set for Tuesday in the Bahamas.

Last season for Pierce: Paul Pierce says this season with the Clippers will be his last as an National Basketball Association player. Most importantly, he will make his departure from Miami with two NBA Championships under his belt as part of the now infamous “Big Three” alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

“I love CB dearly, ” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Monday. “I’m hoping that you’ll want to come along on my journey with me”, Bosh said in a video for Uninterrupted.

Chris Bosh has been the subject of many discussions over the last couple years for the Miami Heat.

“Bosh”™s latest video chapter opens with him narrating, “Sometimes you just have to be broken down to rebuild yourself and come back better than ever.”. Riley strongly denied that assessment, saying the team worked to clear Bosh.

“He was never just written off”.

I get Riley’s stance on the situation. “That may have been his perception because he simply didnt want to believe whats out there.”. The Miami Heat announced last Friday that Bosh is not cleared to play, according to Heat management and doctors. Bosh called that a setback but added that his intentions do not change.

Bosh is owed almost $76 million for the final three seasons of his contract. His money is guaranteed, though the Heat can get salary-cap relief in February 2017 from the bulk of that amount if Bosh doesn’t return to the court. Bosh has had quite a few problems regarding his health lately, which has led to him possibly never playing for the Heat again, and possibly the National Basketball Association, according to ESPN. “We already survived without a lot of key players so hopefully we can do it this year”.

Miami has to make the best move for their franchise and can not afford to worry about loyalty to a player that helped bring multiple championships to the team.
