Jimmy Garoppolo will start for Patriots in Week 4 vs. Bills

The Patriots have this last game Sunday before Tom Brady returns to action next week in Cleveland. Will the quarterback be Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacoby Brissett or wide receiver Julian Edelman (yes you read that right)?

But just as it was when he began his suspension, the biggest question continues to focus on the quarterback position.

But, the Bills have yet to face one of the best tight ends in the league this season and may be in for a true test. Tom Brady’s good at that. Even though Brissett hardly threw the ball in Week 3, 31.5 percent of his passes went to Edelman. Which means this could be a day for LeGarrette Blount who so far is leading the league in rushing. This week, he may asked to do the damage early.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Hogan caught 36 passes for 450 yards and two touchdowns last season, his third as a member of the Bills’ 53-man roster. Their defense has improved from a year ago, but struggling to wins against Buffalo, Cleveland and Jacksonville inspires very little confidence in the new-look Ravens.

Per the NFL’s new injury reporting, no percentage chance of either playing suiting up is given. The Bills, meanwhile, have given the ball up just twice, both on interceptions by Tyrod Taylor.

Q: How the heck is this Patriots team 3-0 with the quarterback situation? Perhaps in the Patriots favor are the less than stellar Bills passing attack. “I’m looking forward to both games against the Bills, for sure”. The genius of Belichick, and incredibly questionable game-planning/coaching from the Patriots first three opponents. There were no return yards. Houston ended up being no competition for the Patriots. The defense is firing on all cylinders and the offensive line is clicking with the mastermind Dante Scarnecchia back in the fold.

The mystery may appear to have been solved, according to WEEI Radio in Boston a source close the station’s Kirk Minihane has said that Jimmy Garoppolo would be the starter on Sunday against the Bills.

“You play the Thursday night game and then you’ve got the long weekend, like a mini-bye week. I think this team, we have prepared really well this week”. Cuz Shady. Will … cause big problems. I know it’s going to be extremely competitive. “That’s what’s I’m going to do”. I don’t have to worry about no jet fuel.

Ryan is still very much on the coaching bubble in Buffalo and the wins better keep on coming if he hopes to be there after this season.

Also of note, the Patriots are just a team that rarely loses. “So we have a tough one ahead of us this week with the Bills and we’re gonna see how it tests out against these guys”. “They’ve got a lot of talented guys out there, you know, a lot of speed out there too, so that’s what I expect”.
