With Forsett gone, West hopes to keep busy for Ravens
Just weeks after renewing his contract, the Baltimore Ravens and running back Justin Forsett have chose to mutually part ways.

Talking to reporters from the Ravens’ official site, Forsett revealed, “It was mutual”.
“It was mutual”, Forsett said Tuesday as he said goodbye to staff members. The Ravens released him September 3 during their 53-man cutdown, but they re-signed him September 5.
Baltimore Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon (knee) is practicing in full for Week 5.
“We’re all going to try to the same thing, run hard and run tough”, said Dixon, a fourth-round pick out of Louisiana Tech.
He would not start for the Patriots given LeGarrette Blount’s current role and the rehabbing Dion Lewis waiting in the wings, but Bill Belichick could find a role for someone of Forsett’s skill set. He’s a quality running back who can thrive in a zone blocking scheme. There likely will be a team who could use his services – perhaps the Denver Broncos and Gary Kubiak.
Already at 30 years old, Forsett knew that he had limited time left as his window is now closing, and wants to play as much as he can for any franchise. Buck Allen might head back to the inactives list. In eight National Football League seasons, Forsett has caught 20 or more passes five times, and he is well on his way to a sixth such season with 11 catches in three games. Forsett added 452 receiving yards.
Though he’s 31, Forsett has only 764 career carries and was a Pro Bowl running back in 2014.

It is important to note that when Forsett was released before the 2016 regular season, it was made clear that the plan was to bring Forsett back all along. The Ravens are huge on him and he has the potential to be a versatile threat for the Ravens.
