“I am really astonished by the kind of language Rahul Gandhi has used for the Indian Government and the Indian Prime Minister”.
Modi’s observations came after some of his Ministers briefed the media about the military operations in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.
The video was interpreted as an appeal to silence Pakistan by releasing the video of the surgical strikes. “Only the Army should be felicitated and hailed for it not any leader, the Defence Minister or the Prime Minister”, Mayawati said. According to reports, the AAP chief was attacked with ink for his alleged remarks on Indian Army’s surgical strike carried out across LoC in response to Uri attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday barred his ministers from offering comments about the so-called surgical strikes on the LoC that has created serious controversy in India about its authenticity.
He said the surgical strikes on launch pads in PoK has “frustrated” Pakistan and it is indulging in “unprovoked firing” on Indian side which is being taken very seriously. It was the DGMO who briefed (the media). There are chances that if India shares footage on public domain Pakistan may not accept it and ask for more proofs about the strikes. “The Opposition leaders’ demands have just given fillip to Pakistan to raise questions”, he said adding that the neighbour’s attempts would be futile as the BJP-led government has succeeded in isolating Pakistan at the worldwide level. Let’s see in past what Pakistan has done with the proof given by India after terror strikes on Indian soil.
