Google’s Pixel Phones Are Up For Pre-Orders On Flipkart From Today
On our podcast earlier today, I told our listeners not to buy the Google Pixel from Verizon.

Pixel is first smartphone with Google Assistant – a built-in AI programme that works as an intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator.
Moreover, Google confirmed that the smartphones sold by Verizon will receive updates at the same time as those sold from Google.
If you live in Australia, use Telestra as your wireless carrier and have already pre-ordered your brand new Google Pixel smartphone, you might want to check your mailbox or doorstep. The Google Pixel price range in the country begins from Rs. 57,000 and Flipkart is slated to deliver these smartphones by October 25.
On the camera front, Google claims they have put the best smartphone camera in this Pixel phone, although neither device has OIS.
The announcement put off a lot of users who were relying on the Pixel and Pixel XL to be at the forefront of receiving updates from Google. After Google’s event, Pixel phones are now considered by some as one of the best Galaxy Note 7 alternatives aside from iPhone 7 and LGV20. The Pixel series runs on 4 GB of RAM and is available in two storage capacities – 32GB and 128 GB.

Android Headlines seems to be more impressed with the Google Pixel instead of the LG V20 because it was faster in terms of the processor in addition to the AMOLED display (in contrast to the V20’s IPS LCD). They just come with a Verizon SIM card and three preinstalled apps (Go90, Verizon Messages, My Verizon) that, by the way, can “easily be uninstalled by the user”. What will matter more at the end is which platform you are more comfortable with-Android Nougat 7.1 or Apple iOS 10. Google has tied up with HTC to set-up walk-in service centres for the phones, and these devices will also be available offline in Croma, Reliance Digital Stores in India as well. Compared to the original survey, those considering iPhone dropped 4 percentage points, which means Pixel is looking like a legitimate premium competitor to some at least, alongside iPhone and Samsung’s top-tier hardware. It is not a Verizon-specific product, no matter what some of the ad copy says.
