Google has stoked speculation that it’s about to new launch a new smartphone, with an announcement Tuesday that it’s holding an event on October 4. They boast of a design that has been controlled by Google in addition to the built-in Google Assistant. It received an 89 score from DxOMark, which is indeed the highest score – the iPhone 7 got an 86.

The resources informed that there are two options to buy Pixel and Pixel XL.

One could even claim that rushing the free, unlimited photo and video backup service, via Google Photos, is just good advertising.

For pricing, unlocked versions of the smaller Google Pixel will cost £599 or $649 and £719 or $749 for the Pixel XL. Really, the biggest difference here seems to be marketing – Google has gone all out to make these look like its own smartphones. Other inbound tweaks include a Daydream VR mode, touch and display performance improvements and an optional fingerprint swipe down gesture developers can implement. The phones were developed together with HTC, although they only carry Google’s branding. Thought has also been put into comfortability, with breathable fabric all around, the headset is also 30 percent lighter than “similar devices” and has been created to fit well even with glasses on. Nevertheless, Google has stated that the people willing to buy the device can already pre-order it. They are also available at Verizon for $27.08 a month for 24 months.
