Mr. Trump, Mrs. Clinton said, had chivalrously sent a vehicle to ferry her to the dinner.

“Now, if some of you haven’t noticed, Hillary isn’t laughing as much as the rest of us”, he persevered, as the booing continued.

‘I want to say something to people who may be reconsidering their support for my opponent: I know you may still have questions for me. Michelle Obama gives a speech.

The Democratic candidate ran down her greatest hits list, tearing into Trump over his taxes and the outsourcing of his company’s products to other countries.

He joked that this crowd – of about 1,500 people – was her biggest audience yet, and in a dig at her Wall St connections, he said it would be unusual for her to be with so many corporate leaders and not get paid. “When will she apologize for all of the people her decisions have gotten killed?”

“Donald has attacked me for a life in public service and I didn’t get that at first”.

She also snarked that Trump’s campaign manager Kellyann Conway being a “contractor he’s probably not even going to pay her”. (Followed by booing from the crowd.) “How corrupt do you have to be to get kicked off the Watergate Commission?”

The “corrupt” comments came when he said, “Hillary is so corrupt, she got kicked off the Watergate commission”.

At the last debate between the White House hopefuls in Las Vegas last week, he called Clinton “a nasty woman”. “Hillary accidentally bumped into me, and she very civilly said ‘Pardon me, ‘” he joked. “In fact I’m actually starting to like Rosie a lot!”

But, she said, ‘the peaceful transition of power is one of the things that sets us apart.

“When you suggest rigging or fraud without a shred of evidence, when last night at the debate, Trump becomes the first major party nominee in American history to suggest that he will not concede despite losing. that is not a joking matter”.

“I’m so flattered Donald thought I used some kind of performance enhancer”. I’d actually like to defend him on this. But then, her own speech took a serious turn. Trump said his father’s vow to combat the allegations in court by suing the women after the election is evidence that the Republican nominee is “a fighter”.
