Morata: Struggling Ronaldo Not A Machine
Real Madrid took advantage of Atletico Madrid’s first defeat of the season at Sevilla to move to the top of La Liga as Alvaro Morata struck a late victor to secure a 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

He got just that on Sunday as his team defeated previously unbeaten Atletico Madrid 1-0 to stay near the top of the Spanish league.
‘Maybe Cristiano is not taking his chances now but at least he is getting them.
“I don’t understand them but at the same time but at the same time I do because it happened to me too”.
“The Bernabeu is special”.
“Cristiano is used to it”.
Bale and other team-mates have leapt to Ronaldo’s defence, arguing that he excels in other aspects of the game.
Ronaldo was wasteful but was saved by Morata, who came off the bench on his 24th birthday to score an 83rd-minute victor in the 2-1 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu.

A controversial penalty on the hour allowed Iago Aspes to put Celta back in front and with Deportivo committing men forward, Fabian Orellana and Aspes scoring further goals on the break to seal the win.
Meanwhile, Barcelona play Valencia on Saturday giving them just two days to recover. “People can have their say, but I do my job and they are all equally important”.
The Bernabeu side immediately went in search of a second goal and Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale and Ronaldo all came close to extending their lead, only for Athletic to then restore parity from out of nowhere. Of course, because the images show Ronaldo standing up before the players and everyone shutting up to listen to him, it’s all a little bit more powerful. We will do everything we can to win the Copa del Rey.
Sunday’s shutout was their sixth of the season, including three from as many games in the Champions League.

The footage comes after Ronaldo admitted he could yet change his mind about going into management after his ability to spur on his team were revealed during the Euro 2016 final when he was seen shouting out instructions to his Portugal teammates as he watched on injured. With players like James Rodriguez and Isco as midfielders, they have a strong offencive line up capable of destroying any team in the La Liga.
