“The Professor will give you two sweets instead of one for every Pokemon you transfer to him”.
The Pokemon featured in the event include Drowzee, Hypno, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat, and Golbat, according to SlashGear. This is great for people who live in areas where they can not catch the aforementioned critters, as their spawn rates will be increased around the world. Pokémon Go is one of the most lucrative games in the world, and developer Niantic is trying to keep that momentum with this seasonal event.
“Every Pokemon you catch will award six sweets – twice the normal amount”, says the explanation of the game on Pokemon.com. The game’s revenue from July to December has just been released, and it has reached the USD$600 million mark, faster than most popular games you can care to name. Happy Halloween!Take a look at the video below for a teaser of what’s to come. Walking your Pokemon buddy is where the real rewards are though, as you’ll receive four sweets where you would normally receive one. Along with the new features is an update of the new Pokemon Information Screen.
