Although Comey is under fire from several elected officials for his “October surprise”, Sen.
Attorney General Loretta Lynch, accompanied by FBI Director James Comey, speaks during a news conference at the Justice Department in Washington, Thursday, March 24, 2016.
“I would rather be here talking about almost anything else”, Clinton said Tuesday during a rally in Florida where she leveled a series of attacks on Trump’s character and preparedness for the White House.
The Florida senator campaigned in Bradenton on Tuesday afternoon, and earlier in the day he was in Lakeland and then headed to Charlotte County.
FBI Director James Comey and Attorney General Loretta Lynch speak to the media at the Justice Department in Washington on November 19, 2015. “I think most people have decided a long time ago what they think about all of this”.
Yet Comey, in effect, did both – even before the Justice Department had subpoenaed the emails. “And the president believes that it’s important for those norms and traditions and guidelines to be followed”, he said. But the White House is leaving the Federal Bureau of Investigation director dangling, saying it is up to him to defend himself in the face of what spokesman Josh Earnest called “significant criticism from a variety of legal experts, including individuals who served in senior Department of Justice positions in administrations that were led by presidents in both parties”.
The poll found that Trump has an 18 point edge among political independents, “significantly higher than Republicans have held in recent elections”, according to the Washington Post.
But he also said there was no evidence they meant to mishandle classified information or obstructed justice, elements he suggested would be necessary for a prosecution.
The laptop contains hundreds of thousands of emails – majority Weiner’s – and it will take weeks to fully vet them, the official said.
Those rules, he added, applied to complaints that the FBI has not discussed an alleged investigation into Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s possible ties to Russian Federation and President Vladimir Putin.
Clinton’s blistering warnings about Trump’s preparedness for the Oval Office were an attempt to refocus the choice in front of voters after a rough stretch for her campaign.
The Democrat’s lead slumped from 4.6 percentage points on Friday to 2.5 points late on Monday, according to the Real Clear Politics tracker which averages most major polls.
Another argument made by those favoring a second Clinton presidency is that she is not her husband and that Bill’s lying and extramarital affairs should not reflect on her.
Campaigning Tuesday in Pennsylvania, a state in which Trump has directed an abundance of time and resources, he and his running mate Mike Pence delivered their most full-throated takedown yet of President Barack Obama’s health care law.
But Sabato added that Trump’s strategy of touring Democratic-leaning states reflects a stark truth: he needs to flip at least one of them in order to win, and even that may not be enough.
Meanwhile the Democratic nominee tried to steer attention away from her handling of United States secrets and on to Trump’s treatment of women.

Democrats have robustly rallied around Clinton, including black and Hispanic lawmakers. Now the tables are turned. “I would hope they take as much time as you do looking at cat videos on your phone to make sure the democracy is working”. I was not his fan.
