According to The New York Times, however, a comprehensive summer-long FBI investigation into any connection between Trump and Russian Federation proved fruitless.

She campaigned on Tuesday in the battleground state of Florida, where she was joined in Dade City by former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, whom Trump had mocked for gaining weight. He died there in 2013. Two days ago, it started tweeting again with a partisan release praising Fred C. Trump as a “philanthropist”. The case was settled out of court and Trump never admitted guilt.

“Per the standard procedure for FOIA, these materials became available for release and were posted automatically and electronically to the FBI’s public reading room in accordance with the law and established procedures”, the statement said. If the new emails turn out to be not significant and are just copies of what the Federal Bureau of Investigation had already examined before stating on July 5 that no reasonable prosecutor could accuse her of deliberately or intentionally violating the law, then that only makes the whole thing that much more cruelly tragic.

While no new information came out of the documents, they will still likely provide fodder for Trump.

The emails come on the heels of FBI Director James Comey’s announcement late last week that his agents had uncovered new emails related to their closed investigation of Clinton and her staff.

Comey released a letter to Congress on Friday vaguely reopening issues with Hillary Clinton’s private server, Democrats and Republicans alike have been thrown off by the possibility of damaging information.

Traders are not calling the election one way or another at this stage, but the reaction shows there is now greater uncertainty about which way the result will go on 8 November.

Mrs Clinton said, “He has no excuse because his 2015 taxes are not even under audit”. She called him a bully.

The University of Virginia’s centre for politics said this week that several key states, including Arizona, Florida and OH, were now considered “toss up”, having earlier been classified as leaning Democratic, saying the races had been tightening regardless of any “Comey Effect”. It has been observed that African-Americans were taking less interest in the upcoming elections because Barak Obama, the first black President, was not on the ticket. If Trump is elected, Obama predicted, he will continue to disrespect women and working people in the White House, in the same way he has behaved during the campaign.

The presidential race is, however, tightening in Pennsylvania, where 48 percent of likely Keystone State voters say their will cast their ballots for Hillary Clinton, compared to 44 percent who say they will vote for Donald Trump, according to a Monmouth University Poll released Wednesday.
