A foldable iPhone may be on the way
Aside from the usual improvements like a better build and hopefully Apple Pencil support, a patent from the tech giant released just this Monday suggests the concept of a folding phone.

Whether Apple could get a bendable device to customers before its competitors is unknown.
Apple shares are up 0.1% to $109.91 in recent trading. Simply put, the U.S. Patent and Trademark office granted Apple a patent for a foldable smartphone design. Yesterday it has come up that the firm has been awarded a new patent for a foldable iPhone concept.
This doesn’t necessarily mean, of course, that Apple will in fact apply this new feature to its upcoming handset.
Apple has been accused of churning out the same product year after year in terms of design, while other smart phones in the market have innovated and pioneered.
Yes, foldable, and Apple won the bendy tech. However, the accessory is yet to make its way to consumers.
The company also justifies its choice of material: “Conductive carbon nanotube paths can form signal paths that are flexible and resistant to cracking”. The patent isn’t for a new iDevice, but for carbon nanotube circuits that would allow for flexible electronic devices. The current iPhone 7 has two screen sizes: 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. The recently released iPhone 7 was previously rumored to come with wireless charging, but that unfortunately didn’t happen for some apparent reason. In the absence of official confirmation about the next generation iPhone, readers should take all the rumors and reports and reports with a grain of salt.
Rumors have it that iPhone 8 may include a Dual-SIM function as it seems to be the next big thing.

A report in the Nikkei Asian Review quotes anonymous sources at Apple supplier Foxconn Technology Group as saying that the company is making wireless charging modules for iPhone 8, the Cupertino company’s tenth anniversary to be released next year. There is also a head strap to keep the device in place on user’s head. The patent also illustrates a solid pair of glasses than an engulfing headset, with built-in arms, and dangling earphones that look much like the pair that comes with the iPhone. We have already heard that the iPhone 8 lineup may have as many as three devices.
