Polls show Clinton with narrow edge five days before election

Still, his campaign has been buoyed by signs that African-American turnout for Clinton may be lagging.

ANew York Times/CBS News Poll found that eighty percent of those surveyed felt the candidates’ campaigns have left them repulsed.

“Where I do think it has perhaps dampened some enthusiasm is in the Senate races in the down ballot where you might see a little bit more ticket splitting”, she said.

Clinton does have problems.

Along religious lines, Trump’s 79 percent support among white evangelical Protestants is just one point different from Romney’s 78 percent support among the same group.

The FBI has made preliminary inquiries into Clinton Foundation activities and alleged contacts between Trump and associates with parties in Russian Federation, according to law enforcement sources.

“This is somebody who would do damage to our democracy, who is uniquely unqualified and shows no interest in becoming more qualified”.

These voters, fortunately for him, are quite numerous in Iowa, Ohio, Nevada, and Maine’s Second Congressional District, which allocates its electoral vote independently from the statewide victor.

If the polls closed right at this moment (which they won’t) and if the results in each state perfectly mirrored the current RealClearPolitics average of polls in each state (which they won’t), Hillary Clinton would be elected president by an electoral college margin of 8 votes.

Early voting in Arizona, led by a surge in early voting by Latinos angered by Trump.

The problem for Clinton is that nearly half of America’s Latino population lives in California or Texas.

But there’s also good news for Clinton, who is on the move in traditionally Republican states. But while this has some interesting implications for a few House races, it does not in any way help Clinton win the election.

Nonwhites and college graduates are more concerned than their counterparts about the economy, with whites more apt to cite corruption and terrorism/national security and those without a college degree more likely to pick multiple issues. That’s in part because she could win three states that have gone blue in five of the past six elections (Iowa, New Hampshire and New Mexico) and two states that have gone blue in four of the past six (Nevada and Ohio).

Other top states include OH (a total of $65 million spent), North Carolina ($48 million spent), Pennsylvania ($44 million spent) and Nevada ($34 million spent). The ad, titled “Unfit”, attempts to undercut Clinton’s credibility by connecting her with Weiner, the estranged husband of a top Clinton aide accused of sexting a 15-year-old girl.

EMAILS from Hillary Clinton’s private server found on the laptop seized from sext-shame ex-congressman Anthony Weiner are NOT duplicates of those already found in a separate probe.

That’s not nothing, but it doesn’t make up for the weakness in Pennsylvania and the Midwest.

Comey disclosed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was looking at emails as part of a probe into Clinton’s use of a private email system while secretary of state, without describing the emails’ content or how long the inquiry might take. “And you better believe he is being heard loudly and clearly”. “This has never happened to a nominee of a major party”.

Still, there are a couple of reasons to think the race isn’t as close as it appears to be.
