Mavericks revoke credentials of ESPN’s Marc Stein, Tim MacMahon for weekend games

Stein previously covered the team for The Dallas Morning News – mostly before Cuban purchased the Mavericks in 2000 – and is based in the city, but writes broadly about the league.

“This was just a case of outlasting an opponent”, Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said. It’s 48 minutes. Look, with the two fouls early, he ended up with the ball with 7 seconds left for the last shot and for us to win. Whether it was too fancy of a pass, a poor decision to pass, or simply stepping out of bounds, the team’s turnover total for the game reached a season-high of 27. “He went out there and got us big stops and extra possessions with offensive boards”.

Michael Carter-Williams posted 20 points and added 11 assists, and Greg Monroe contributed his own triple-double, but the Bucks fell 109-95 to the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. “We’ve been fighting in these other games”.

The game slowly started going in the Mavs’ favor as the second quarter went on and the Bucks were left looking for answers heading into halftime. Porzingis and Anthony totaled 14 points in the third period for an 80-78 lead.

The Bucks (4-2) extended their winning streak to three with Saturday night’s 117-91 home rout over to Sacramento.

Jabari Parker had 16 to lead Milwaukee, who fell to 4-3.

In what was already shaping up to be in an ugly offensive game, Milwaukee scored a measly point in overtime compared to the Mavericks’ twelve. “On defense, we were great”. “We still competed, but we just have to finish the game off”.

Bucks: Host the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. Matthews had a miserable 3-of-17 clip from the field, but knocked down two big threes in the fourth quarter and overtime period to give Dallas its first win in six games. He’s making the most of that playing time, and his 20.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game are both well above what he has managed in any of his other four seasons in the National Basketball Association. You know, he can be one of those guys that can be a dependable top-three player on a good team. Still, despite his personal success, the former North Carolina standout believes he can do more to help the team collect wins while Nowitzki sits out at least a week.
