As per the latest statistics published in the media, almost two million wayward commemorations were posted on profile pages in which Mark Zuckerberg was also included.

A Facebook spokesman said: “This was a bad error that we have now fixed”.

A technical glitch has meant that Facebook has accidentally told a large number of users that they had died.

Mark denied Facebook had anything to do with how things turned out, and said, “There’s not really a way that a company like ours would happen to know something like that”. When something goes wrong with it, people are bound to notice.

Typically they must identify the account of the person who has died, the date they passed away and proof of death, such as a link to an obituary or death certificate.

“Facebook thinks I’m dead I guess?”

“Atomic annihilation happens January 21st”.

And for many, it just summed up the kind of 2016 we’ve been having. Although the Cupertino-based company soon acknowledged the mistake after and termed it as a “terrible error” after fixing the problem.

Zuckerberg rejected the notion that fake stories paved a path of success for President elect Trump.

The tech giant delivered morbid news to Zuckerberg with a message on his profile: “Remembering Mark Zuckerberg”.
