Leah Remini, along with high level former Scientology executives and Church members, delves deep into shocking stories of abuse, heartbreak and harassment experienced by those who have left the church and spoken publicly about their experiences.

“You’re also indoctrinated in Scientology to believe that the justice system is corrupt”, he said, “that it doesn’t do anything to ever resolve the problem”. They all had to be Scientologists because they all wanted him to be in Scientology 100 per cent.
In response to Scobee’s confession, Mike Rinder, who says he was the global spokesman for Scientology for 20 years, alleged that the church breeds distrust of the judicial system. So I understand this. The group practiced kidnapping cult members in order to deprogram them. They know what they’re up against, but their quest for family unity overrides that. Scientologists have used many avenues to revamp the way the world views their organization. While Cruise was married to Nicole Kidman, he moved away from the organization.
Leah Remini arrives at the 15th Annual DesignCare in 2013 in Malibu, California.
Warning: This article contains details from the series premiere of “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath”. And according to the preview of the next episode, her goal is to expose these abuses so no other family has to suffer the way Rinder’s and Scobie’s have.
When I asked the officers, ‘Did you see her with your own eyes? “The dedication it takes to be a Scientologist is a lot”, she said to Gurthrie. Has her outspokenness helped others to break free from the group?
Leah Remini is going public about her experience with the Church of Scientology.
Each episode will presumably include visits to one or more former Scientologists, with Remini helping to document their grievances. Since then, she has expressed regret and a commitment to discredit, as she puts it, “A church that I promoted, defended and believed in most of my life”. Leah Remini released a statement regarding the upcoming docuseries. He says, on the series, that his biggest regret was having two children born into Scientology. Talking-head segments, usually her personal reflections, in a gauzy white warehouse space, are a little silly and staged, but when she goes on the road with former Scientology spokesman Mike Rinder, Remini is able to let that personality come out. For too long, this multi-billion-dollar organization bullied victims and journalists to prevent the truth being told.

We encourage readers to click on the link above to THR to read the full interview, which sheds light on the ongoing battle between Remini and Scientology. Church followers aren’t going to watch it. People who are already consumed by the weirdness of Scientology aren’t going to discover anything they don’t already know. Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath seems to be aimed at an entirely different audience, mired as it is in the reality and true-crime formats of shows like Intervention and The First 48. Will you participate in the Reddit questions and answers forum? Scientology is not exactly known for wanting its secrets to get out, so I have to think it’s extremely courageous for people like Rinder, Remini, and Scobee to leave the church, tell their stories, and fight to reconnect with their families.
