In case any child has not written their Christmas Wish List to Santa yet, they can prepare a letter and hand it to one of Santa’s Elves who will walk in the parade.

Now in its 31st year, the Palm Coast Yacht Club Holiday Boat Parade will light up the Intracoastal Waterway Dec. 17. Poole said next year she plans to expand. Her husband said those who avoided downtown due to long-held stigmas surrounding the city were “missing out”.
Kicks N Flips won the parade’s youth category, with the Rowden Family taking second place and the Cub Scouts third.
Dagel loves sharing Kauai’s Christmas parade with her three-year-old daughter. And I’m sure it was lovely.
“When the parade comes through downtown, we will shut everything down but that”, Baker said. “When you know the people around you, it really makes a difference”.
Last year’s parade was led by a replica Red Baron plane, lovingly restored after it was vandalised in May 2015.
The city’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony is still scheduled for today at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. This year’s headliner, R&B group Bell Biv Devoe, entertained the exuberant concertgoers, performing unique renditions of traditional Christmas songs.
The Christmas tree was lit with the help of two kids from the audience. Local fifth grader Matea Willoughby was nominated by Seina Elementary school administration to “flip the switch” and light the Christmas tree!

“We are inviting everyone to bring their floats/entries, light them up, and park them around Festival Park for everyone to see”, the press release stated.
