In celebration of The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign, GRAMMY-winning, multi-Platinum rock band Blues Traveler released their take on the Christmas hymn, “Go Tell It on the Mountain”, with 100% of net proceeds from every download of the song benefitting The Salvation Army.
Major Pam Waugh of the Salvation Army said there were increased demands on donors this year, and people were finding their own costs increasing too.
The Pennsylvania Lottery praised the player for donating the large winnings. Trish Simeroth and her husband, Lt. She said an after school program, where dinner is also available, serves about 50 children daily.
“I just love giving back to people”, said Kalisiak, who eventually moved inside after spending more than two hours ringing the bell outside the store.

The Salvation Army relies heavily upon contributions to fund its food, housing, material assistance, behavioral health, older adult services, youth development and anti-human trafficking programs.
