Will Trump actually ban Muslims from entering the US?
“What’s happening is disgraceful”, Trump told reporters Wednesday when asked whether the recent violence has influenced his proposed Muslim ban. Either way, though, judging by the criticism Trump’s sons are facing, it’s likely the issue would have been raised, and she would have been expected to make a decision. “Additionally, the president-elect is not aware of the event or the details pertaining to it”.

Following terror attacks in Paris last fall, Trump vowed to prohibit Muslims from entering the country as immigrants and visitors.
“We kept it simple”. Political money and ethics lawyer Ken Gross says politicians are always doing receptions – sometimes for politics, sometimes for charity.
The president-elect’s transition team has said it expects to announce some White House positions in the coming days. “That’s what it is, it’s an attack on humanity and it’s got to be stopped”, Trump said before heading back inside.
Trump’s December 2015 proposal, titled “Donald J. Trump Statement on Preventing Muslim Immigration”, was widely condemned by Muslim and human rights groups as well as his Democratic rivals and many of his Republican proponents who describe the proposal as divisive, counterproductive and contrary to American values.
Gentry Beach, a director of the Opening Day Foundation and co-chair of the event, did not respond to questions from ABC News about the Trump sons’ involvement, and whether donors will still receive hunting or fishing trips with them in exchange for contributions. The documents were first reported by the Center for Public Integrity.
“No new money will come into the ETF bank account”, Eric Trump wrote in an email message on Thursday, according to the Post, in reference to the Eric Trump Foundation.
The Trump sons were also still listed as “honorary co-chairmen” of the event.
Today, however, Trump was not asked about banning immigration from any specific regions; he was asked about banning Muslims, and that is an idea the president-elect is apparently still behind. The president’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, were prominently mentioned in the invitation online.
“Maybe that’s an option, but not one I have thought much about”, Eric Trump replied.
Trump also named billionaire investor Carl Icahn as an adviser on regulatory reform, though the transition team said Icahn would not be serving as a federal government employee.
Price’s statement said the White House had been in touch with German officials ‘and we stand ready to provide assistance as they recover from and investigate this horrific incident’.

They praised the Trumps for making quick adjustments after seeing bad press about the fundraising but said that doesn’t eliminate the need for Trump to develop and follow hard-and-fast rules as previous presidents did. “Is this going to be a change in the way they approach our community?” “You do a good thing that backfires”.
