NFC North title will come down to Lions-Packers in Week 17

This is Green Bay’s first Christmas Eve game since 2004, when the Packers went into the old Metrodome and pulled out a 34-31 win over the Vikings to win a third straight NFC North title. Through 112 meetings, which includes two postseason contests (1-1), the Packers hold a 59-51-2 edge over the Vikings in the all-time series. They needed to win their last two games just to make the playoffs and had a tiebreaker advantage over the Giants and Buccaneers, both of whom had also finished 10-6.

Before the sack, Rodgers was shredding the Minnesota defense, racking up three first-half passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown just before halftime.

The Vikings aren’t built to come from 15 behind, and they’ve been playing largely uninspired for most of the last two months. He missed several games with a torn meniscus.
