The driver of the pickup along with three of the four occupants in the SUV passed away.

Though the department has not released the names of the victims yet, the Hope Center reports a passenger in the auto with the Schenzels, Ryan Hrubes, died in the crash. Three of the four people riding in the SUV were also killed, including Ty and Terri Schenzel and 28-year-old Ryan Hrubes. A fourth person inside the second vehicle has serious, non-life threatening injuries.

We along with their faith families and all those who have been touched by Ty and Terri Schenzel in Omaha, Fremont and around the world are mourning their loss.

Ty and Terri, as they were known, were married for 25 years, according to the Waypoint Church website.

The Schenzels also founded the Hope Center for Kids, a non-profit for children, in 1998. Ty had officiated the Hrubes’ wedding a few months prior.

A Facebook page has been set up to memorialize the couple.
