A dismal 4-1 home defeat at the hands of West Ham on Monday proved to be Bradley’s last game in charge.

“Personally, I think it was an important goal for me, but collectively it was our third win and we’ve done really well in the last few games”, said Ayew.

The United States just didn’t improve enough for Bradley to keep his job for a second term, with the 4-2 loss to Mexico in the Gold Cup Final a final example of a coach who, despite his diligence, wasn’t a must-keep manager.

“There I was enjoying my year out, and I get the call off Swansea”, the former Wales worldwide told ITV.

Swansea hired Bradley on October 3 after firing Francesco Guidolin amid a disastrous start to the season. He then moved on to the US Men’s National Team from 2006 to 2011.

The 58-year-old took training on Tuesday morning, but the club’s American owners made a decision to sack Bradley after the 4-1 Boxing Day home defeat to West Ham had supporters calling for his dismissal.

The FC panel debate whether Bob Bradley will get the chance to add to his squad in January, or if it’s too little, too late.

“I don’t think it’s nailed on Ryan Giggs will get the job at all”, Gabbidon told talkSPORT.

Swansea City manager Bob Bradley admits that his side are their “own worst enemy” as they fall to their 12th defeat of the season. Those watching knew that Bradley would not be judged on how his sides performed against the top clubs but instead on his ability achieve his season goal; Keeping Swansea City in the Premier League.

“They need to bring someone in who has experience of the Premier League, if they can”. They got their wish one day later.
