Actress Debbie Reynolds died from a stroke on December 28, just one day after her daughter, actress Carrie Fisher, died from a heart attack, Variety reported. “So, she gets to do that and that’s what she wanted to do”.

“She was an incredibly strong person, but I told someone the other day after Carrie died, that it was going to really hurt her”. Debra Messing, star of the hit TV series “Will & Grace” – in which Reynolds played her on-screen mother – tweeted: “So heartsick”. “R$3 egarding the trials and tribulations of being a son or daughter of celebrities, no one helped or inspired me more than Carrie Fisher”, he continued. “It was more about leading by example, ‘” she said.
Ms Fisher died on Tuesday, four days after she suffered a cardiac arrest on a transatlantic flight from London to Los Angeles. That production also featured Reynolds’ daughter Carrie Fisher in her Broadway debut and George S. Irving, who won a Tony for his performance, both of whom died earlier this week.
