While Kentucky did give the Yellow Jackets a bit of a run for their money in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points, the Yellow Jackets were able to use good starting field position and a key third down conversion to put the game away on Dedrick Mill’s 3-yd TD run.
Johnson didn’t throw any interceptions against Georgia Tech and nobody else fumbled. In 2014, the Yellow Jackets ended the year with wins over in-state rival Georgia and Mississippi State in the Orange Bowl. But Mills looks like he could be a force for at least two more years.
No matter how much time you have to prepare, Georgia Tech’s triple option offense is always hard to defend.
