Samsung Is Finally Launching Its Foldable Phone
We just reported that a source claims Samsung may surprise everyone and show off the smartphones a month or two ahead of its release, which means the company could continue to follow tradition and debut the smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2017, kicking off on February 27. The rumor of Samsung making a foldable smartphone dates at least back to May 2015, if not before that. The Chinese company brought out a foldable smartphone concept device previous year.

Remember Samsung’s awesome foldable and rollable display technologies that were rumored to be in the works as part of a larger smartphone project?
The Samsung Galaxy S8 will definitely be one of the best, if not the best smartphone in 2017.
Recent reports say the company has investigated the device’s critical flaw for itself and may share its exact findings as soon as this month. The information was initially founded in Weibo, a Chinese micro-blogging platform often becomes the go-to place when looking for accurate leaks.
One is Sm-X9000, and the other is SM-X9050. The phones are in test in China.
According to the results, posted to Geekbench, the phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and Android 6.0.1 pre-installed. With that in mind, you’d expect it to be an nearly certainty that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S8 at the event this year. Galaxy C9 Pro will also share the same specs apart from the display size, which will be 5.5-inch. Most other key specifications are also identical to the Galaxy C5 Pro, except for the battery capacity. Both the phones will have dual screen and flat screen on each side.

The main thing is that the display is likely to be OLED, Samsung revealed its rollable OLED display tech at SID a year ago – so there’s little doubt about that. For its long term planning, Samsung has also given a thought on the mid and lower end ranges to boost up its sales. The aspect ratio of these smartphones will be different instead of the usual 16:9. The leak comes from Twitter user @mmddj_china, and shows that the phones will indeed feature quite a sleek design.
