USA spy chief Clapper tells Trump: We didn’t leak the Russian Federation dossier
Trump’s victory has been clouded by USA intelligence agencies’ conclusion that Putin ordered a hacking campaign that aimed to undermine US democracy, discredit Trump’s opponent Hillary Clinton, and help him win the election.

And while he acknowledged that Russian Federation had been behind hacking in the 2016 elections, he at least initially dodged the question of whether anyone from his campaign had been in contact with Russian Federation during the campaign.
“Within 90 days we will be coming up with a major report on hacking defense, how do we stop this new phenomena”.
Trump’s first public acknowledgement came after months of denial and sometimes even disparagement of USA intelligence community.
In Wednesday’s press conference, Donald Trump was, unsurprisingly, asked several questions about Russian Federation.
“It was illegal for any official to talk to me about them but I got a message back through an intermediary which said the allegations were regarded as credible”.
“Mexico in some form. will reimburse us”, Trump added. For Trump to single out CNN, and lump them in with BuzzFeed, was the kind of bullying that is sadly familiar to those of us who have suffered through the Chris Christie years.
Opening his first news conference since the election, President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday responded to suggestions that US intelligence agencies leaked unsubstantiated reports to the media about his relationship with Russian Federation, calling it a “tremendous blot on their record if they did that”. “You are fake news!”
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said on Wednesday that “I think it was Russia” behind the cyber-attacks targeting the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
Among the revelations in the dossier was a freaky story of Trump allegedly hiring several prostitutes to “perform a “golden showers” show in front of him” on a bed in the Moscow’s Ritz Carlton Hotel’s presidential suite where Barack Obama and his wife had previously stayed during an official visit to Russian Federation.
“Now BuzzFeed News is publishing the full document so that Americans can make up their own minds about allegations about the president-elect that have circulated at the highest levels of the USA government”, the publisher said in the short story accompanying the memos.
“Probably released by “Intelligence” even knowing there is no proof, and never will be”.
Clapper assured the president-elect that the leaks did not come from inside the USA intelligence community, the New York Times reports.
The report did not specify when and where the meeting took place nor did it say who was present at the meeting.
“You are fake news!” he told the reporter in a moment that reverberated on Twitter.

Trump dismissed the report’s suggestion that the Russians have videotape of him in compromising positions.
