If things go as WWE now has planned, here are five of the top rumored WrestleMania 33 matches that could come out of Sunday’s Royal Rumble.

Who’s the “Iron Man” in the Royal Rumble match?
Bate’s charisma has already enchanted global audiences, and the mustached maestro could be a potential wildcard entry to make his American WWE debut in the Royal Rumble. The rumor mill has been churning as it does every year for a couple of months now, with people like Kota Ibushi, Kyle O’Reilly and any of WWE’s UK Championship tournament competitors being talked about for a slot.
If anyone would know, it’s Triple H, who has as much to do with the booking of WWE programming as anyone not named Vince McMahon.
And we didn’t even know we’d have a match at the “Royal Rumble,” up until it was made Tuesday at “Smackdown”.
Looking inward, other surprises could come from NXT, just as Sami Zayn did a year ago on his way to moving upwards to the main roster. While some of them might not be in the ring for very long, others last until very close to the end and go on to have feuds at WrestleMania.
Can’t wait until 2018 to see WWE in person?
It’s the return we want, it’s the return we need and it’s the return we could quite possibly get. She still needs time to develop her character and the fans need more time for her to grow on them. But I think that’s all going to change, because we have fantastic women in NXT.

It’s not the only time WWE has dropped the ball in the wake of the “women’s revolution”: both Raw and SmackDown lacked even one women’s match this past week, and last June’s Money in the Bank sorely missed a titular match featuring the women’s division.
