Microsoft President Brad Smith said in a company-wide email posted on LinkedIn that 76 company employees were citizens of the seven countries in question and held USA work visas, and thus were directly affected by the order.

The EO stalled the admission of refugees to United States from Syria indefinitely along with the denying entry to residents from the Muslim countries of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Yemen, Sudan, Libya, and Somalia, for three months.

Still, Google’s criticisms come even as the company has sought to forge stronger ties with the new Republican administration.

Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, fears Trump’s immigration order may affect businesses, as he recalls more than 100 employees travelling overseas to avoid probable immigration issues. The details of the president’s order remain to be seen, he said. It is not a policy we support.

In an email to employees Apple CEO Tim Cook said his company has contacted the White House to explain the “negative effect” the restrictions will have on workers.

Among the most well known: Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was the son of a Syrian immigrant.

“This was in direct response to the immigration action”, Hossain said. I share your concern.

Zuckerberg highlighting about his immigrant grand parents and about parents of his wife Priscilla, he imposed America is a nation of immigrants and it should be proud of it.

He added: “They are our future too”.

The controversial move, signed a week after he was sworn- in as the President, fulfills the vow Trump made on the campaign trail to limit Muslim immigration to the US.

But some of the Silicon Valley’s top leaders took a blunter stance on the ban. It is unclear just how many of them managed to make it back.

The immigration ban, however, has ran in to a temporary roadblock after a U.S. district court put a stay on the executive order last Saturday. It is no small matter that Sundar Pichai was born and raised in India.
