Former Minnesota Vikings fail to capture glory at 2017 WWE Royal Rumble
At this point, we have no idea of where Braun Strowman will end up at Wrestlemania, perhaps a cross brand match against Baron Corbin?

In case you didn’t know.
Original thoughts on Rollins, Joe, and Triple H below. Not only did he come up short at the Rumble, but he also did not make any sort of forward progress on the January 30 edition of Monday Night Raw. Orton entered the ring at number 23 and eliminated the last man Roman Reigns with an RKO to win the Rumble.
Had Finn Balor been cleared, this spot may have occurred earlier on in the Rumble, where there were definitely 15 low key minutes that could have benefited from a high spot. The backstage word is that Vince McMahon rewarded Randy from the beating he took from Lesnar at Summerslam and how well he fit into his role with the Wyatt family with the greatest prize in the industry, main eventing Wrestlemania.
Fastlane is going to be an interesting stop before Wrestlemania, and we can all only hope that this feud isn’t a failure.
The Undertaker, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor and Randy Orton are among just a few wrestlers that could win the 30-man battle royal. From there, Strowman power-hammered Reigns through a table propped up against a turnbuckle.
Instead, The Undertaker will go head to head with someone from the Raw roster, which in all likelihood at this stage will be Roman Reigns. The show managed to be No. 1 in the cable ratings for an original show for the first time in a good long while, and pulled in 3.615 million viewers at its peak, up 10 percent from last week.
There is no information regarding what Strowman or Balor will now do at WrestleMania. He’s cocky, he’s confident, his “I’m John Cena and you’re not” attitude is refreshing.
After all, it was a Smackdown Live superstar that won the Rumble and is going on to headline WrestleMania 33. WrestleMania will sell out no matter what and get plenty of huge view for the WWE. It may be more beneficial to save his return as one of the highlights of the Raw, the night after WresteMania.
Strowman, one hell of a man, recovered from Roman’s beatdown before The Big Dog even got to the back.

Later in the match, Roman Reigns eliminated the Undertaker, and there was a lot of foreshadowing here. Last match before the Royal Rumble was John Cena against WWE champion AJ Styles. A Reigns heel turn would give the fans what they want. There had to be a better way to set up Reigns and the Undertaker than the way it unfolded in the ring. The match was called after Jax locked her into a brutal submission, but she refused to let Sasha out after the bell rang.
