Super Bowl ads caught in political whirlwind

First -time Super Bowl advertiser 84 Lumber said its original ad showed “a wall” and was rejected for being too controversial. I would not be surprised if there were some great YouTube ads that pop up from these brands around Super Bowl weekend.

The extended cut of the ad was made available during halftime on 84 Lumber’s website, and the site crashed nearly immediately.

The spot posted online runs a little under 6 minutes and shows construction workers erecting a structure.

Let’s face it: cute and amusing Super Bowl commercials are as much of a staple as the nachos and the hot wings.

It was surprising how explicit some ads were in trolling President Trump during “Super Bowl 51”.

The full version of a powerful, pro-immigration commercial – which depicted a mother and daughter’s arduous journey to the United States, only to come face-to-face with Donald Trump’s proposed border wall – was released during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The company decided to make the most of the situation by turning the ad into a cliffhanger. “Heinz campaigns for “#SMUNDAY” national holidayHeinz On the day after the Super Bowl, Heinz is giving its employees a day off and petitioning for a national holiday.

Unless you’re one of those fans that only likes watching football alone, we’ve all been to Super Bowl parties where some people care about the game, some people half-care and some people are there for the food, company and commercials.

“What do I tell my daughter?” asks the father.

Increasingly, it is more hard to think of purchasing a Super Bowl ad purely based on the 30 or 60 seconds the spot will be shown on television.

He says just like sociologists, advertisers study trends to sell a product- “What they wanna do is say what’s the pattern in society what’s the trend and how can I take advantage of it”. There is no telling how many times it was watched on the 84 Lumber website, but it was enough to crash the site temporarily. “People smiled more at the ads that were tweeted more, and that makes a lot of sense”. “THAT is who we are as Americans #weaccept”, one Twitter user wrote.

Overall – Other than the cat this is a pleasant-enough ad that does showcase what it is that Ford is trying to sell.
