Lady Gaga killed it yesterday.

The singer delivered a spectacular performance at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas for Super Bowl LI. Her intro was more patriotic, starting off with “God Bless America” transitioning into “This Land Is Your Land” and ending it with an excerpt from the Pledge of Allegiance. She emphasized the line, “This land is your land, this land is my land”.

If you ever really need to tell the world something, the Super Bowl is the place to do it.

Gaga’s performance included all the three songs that reached the top Billboard spot; “Just Dance”, “Pokerface” and “Born This Way”.

She also announced a USA and European tour, starring in August, and will perform at the Grammys in Los Angeles on Sunday, although she is not nominated this year.

If you fell asleep during the show, Gaga opened her set singing and twirling in the air connected only to a pair of ropes.

‘We’re here to make you feel good, ‘ she said.

“Welp, you know what they say…if you ain’t got no haters, you ain’t poppin”.

In the past, the 30-year-old has addressed criticism surrounding her weight by opening up about her battle with anorexia and bulimia as a teen. Gaga has lost the almost 30 pounds she gained in 2014.

“Lady Gag had a high-flying, high-octane performance at the Super Bowl, and it started with her jumping off the roof and floating down to the stage”.

She is an absolute, all around triple quadruple threat!

Hats off to The Simpsons for once again understanding our future better than we ever did.
