The company is looking to surprise users with the release of this special feature-packed tenth anniversary iPhone.
Better start saving now, if you want the next iPhone. Thanks to its powerful A9 processor with 2 cores and RAM 1 GB, the smallest of the iPhone has never been more accessible.
A larger battery than the iPhone 7 is another feature Apple is reportedly looking to include on the iPhone 8.
However, the money is on Apple dropping the aluminum back in favor of an all-glass design.
The Home button technology is still “evolving” according to Fast Company’s source, but Apple’s goal is to get it done in time for inclusion in the iPhone 8.
This year, Apple will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its iPhone and the new premium handset will come with important improvements.
It’s also likely that Apple will launch three different models this fall: The aforementioned 5.8-inch iPhone 8, and two LCD screen-equipped variants in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch sizes that are likely to be cheaper than this year’s flagship device. The increased pricing transparency associated with abandoning subsidies indirectly helps lay the foundation for innovation, because manufacturers can then appeal directly to consumers on why a higher price tag is warranted by new features instead of having to negotiate subsidy levels with carriers.
And will a $1,000+ iPhone be the only option for consumers?
The iPhone maker is known for this kind of pricing and the company also reported record breaking sales during its last quarter. Unconfirmed reports say the next iPhone will boast a 5.8-inch OLED screen.
iPhone 8/iPhone X or anything else? This rumor is coming from Fast Company who says they have “a source with knowledge of Apple’s plans”.
In comparison, previous iPhones have traditionally had a $649 starting price.

Those waiting for the upcoming release of the completely redesigned iPhone this year, we would suggest you start saving some money right away. Apple will also likely push for its forthcoming smartphone to have an IP68 rating, which would allow the handset to be plunged underwater 1.5 metres deep for 30 minutes without malfunctioning. That’s basically $250 more than AAPL has ever charged.
