Iranians march against Trump
Iran is an independent country like the United States.

“Some inexperienced figures in the region and America are threatening Iran”. Russia, a key ally of Iran and seemingly the apple of President Trump’s eye, rubbished the accusations.
“To cement their grip in power, hardliners will do whatever they can to provoke Trump”.
Steven Daines, chief executive of new businesses at Accor Hotels, says the French group is not altering its plans to operate hotels in Iran.
Rouhani called Iran the home of “lions” but claimed his country was not seeking hostility.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had called on Iranians earlier this week to use the anniversary of the revolution, which overthrew the USA -backed shah, as an opportunity to “respond” to the Trump administration’s forceful rhetoric.
At similar rallies in years past, it would be typical to see a US flag burning every 10-15 yards, but none were seen Friday.
Khamenei made the speech to military commanders and told them that there were no enemies that could paralyze Iran. The Iranian military, which was under United States influence, soon surrendered, and within months Khomenei was declared the supreme leader of a new Islamic Republic. “We want no tensions, we are not a threat, but we will not tolerate threats and disrespect”.
Interim Tehran Friday Prayer Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani criticized President Trump’s executive order banning nationals from Iran and six other Muslim-majority countries from entering the US during his prayer sermon on February 10. “When they get threatened, they get motivated and are enticed to come out and show resistance”.
“The leader’s top priority has always been preserving the Islamic Republic”. Senior level officials participated in the march in Tehran, including President Hassan Rouhani. Images broadcast on Iran’s state television showed throngs of people holding signs and marching in the streets. At such events, Rouhani can strike a note that sounds as hardline as anyone. “We are ready to sacrifice our lives for our leader”, a young Iranian man told state TV in a reference to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “This nation will give a determined response to threats”.
President Rouhani also said he is seeking national reconciliation in face of foreign threats.
The Trump Administration began picking up anti-Iran rhetoric two weeks ago, following an Iranian test of a medium-range ballistic missile.
