Meanwhile, the chief of police dispelled earlier reports that Kim’s family was on their way to Malaysia.

Malaysian police had previously said no one besides Kim Jong Nam had been sickened during the airport attack.
The suspects seem to have carefully planned their escape route from Malaysia to North Korea to prevent China, incited by the killing of Kim Jong Nam, from detaining them.
Malaysian authorities arrested two women last week, one Indonesian and one with a Vietnamese passport, for their alleged roles in the attack.
Police are also holding one North Korean man, but are seeking another seven in connection with the murder. Jong-nam immediately sought medical help, but suffered seizures shortly after the altercation and reportedly died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.
“I am outraged that the criminals used such a risky chemical in a public area”, said Malaysia’s Environment Minister Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar on Friday. Severely exposed people are not likely to survive, although death can take anything from a few minutes to a few hours.

The nature of the substance, and the fact that the police believe several North Korean suspects are thought to be heavily involved, points the finger more squarely towards the regime having a hand in the incident.
Among the accusations hurled at Malaysia were that Malaysia was colluding with South Korea, that Malaysia had a hand in the assassination and that the country was in breach of worldwide protocol. “Emotionally, we do not know, will need more checks for that”, he was quoted as saying. He was told to shut up or face the prospect of being kicked out of the nation.
Samah said if the person concerned did not cooperate, police would issue a notice under Malaysian law “compelling” them to appear before the investigation team.

Samah also told reporters that Malaysian authorities raided an apartment in an upscale Kuala Lumpur suburb on Wednesday (22 February) to look for any traces of chemicals in the apartment, Reuters wrote.
