Should Jimmy Kimmel Return to Host the Oscars in 2018?

At tonight’s Oscars, host Jimmy Kimmel mocked USA president Donald Trump for ripping into Meryl Streep earlier this year.

“Some Republicans and Trump supporters said over social media that they would not watch the show because they expected it to be nothing more than Trump bashing, with some using the hashtag “#NoOscarsForMe”.

“I think they were focused so hard on politics that they didn’t get the act together at the end”, President Trump said in an interview with Breitbart News conducted in the Oval Office. One year, he even live-tweeted his reactions to the Oscars, and offered to host the ceremony.

“The President spoke tonight before a joint session of Congress and we are going to ignore it”. Little did they know, they’d become one of the biggest parts of this year’s Oscars.

Popular comedian and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the 89th Annual Academy Awards.

“The country is divided right now”.

HollywoodLifers, what did you think of the insane Best Picture gaffe at the Oscars?

“We notice some commotion going on, and Matt says, ‘I think I heard the stage manager say they got the victor wrong, ‘” Kimmel recalled of sitting next to Damon while all this was going down. Let me know if you liked the bit in the comment section below.

Poking fun at best actress nominee Meryl Streep, Kimmel called her “highly overrated” and asked the audience to give her a standing ovation.

Trump was the target of several jokes, allusions, and honest criticisms during Sunday night’s Oscars, with host Jimmy Kimmel leading the charge.

That’s when Kimmel told the audience that they should reach out to someone in their own lives who disagreed with them. Kimmel said Damon made a sacrifice by passing on the role to “Manchester by the Sea” to star in a “Chinese ponytail movie instead and that movie went on to lose Dollars 80 million”.
