According to KGI Securities and Wall Stree Journal, Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch iPhone with LCD display along with a premium version of iPhone 8 will sport OLED display.

Apple is expected to implement OLED panels on 60 million units of the iPhone 8 this year, about 40 percent of its total manufacturing number, the report said. Refuting famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s forecast of Apple using iris or facial recognition tech, DigiTimes suggests that it could use alternatives such as ultrasound. The report from Nikkei Asian Review mentions that the upcoming phone will have a 5.8-inch display.
Other supposed iPhone 8 changes incorporate new biometric advancements, another all-glass design, and Touch ID coordinated into the display.
Following years of unsurprising iterations, Apple is expected to completely refresh the iPhone line this year with a host of new features and an exciting new design. Regardless, with this new display, the company hopes to bring an “edge-to-edge screen” on the handset.
However, there may also be an all-new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, with Apple able to compress the power of its biggest slates into a smaller body.
Exactly how the bigger screen in the iPhone 8 might actually work, however, remains to be seen. On the other hand, the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will replace the now available iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. On the other hand, the Samsung leaks even revealed that the company is ditching the iconic home button and replacing it on the back of the device.

The iPhone 8 is going to be the largest iPhone Apple has ever made, according to a new report. There’s also a good chance that the device will support wireless charging. If this is the case, then expect Apple’s upcoming iPhone lineup to offer significantly faster processing compared to the tech giant’s current iPhone models. Pair this with the expected improvements in the waterproof features of the iPhone 7, the iPhone 8 could prove to be a newly resistant smartphone. Apple’s latest iPhone will feature an iris scanner, that will allow the users to unlock their phone by just looking at the screen.
